Air Start Units (ASU's) deliver compressed air to an aircraft to help start the engines during instances when the on-board APU is not operational or there are no other means for starting the engines.
Available in Towable Trailer mounted / Skid Mounted / Self propelled configurations
RATES: 100 PPM | 160-180PPM | 250-300 PPM | 400 PPM
(Maximum) at suction pressure of 14.5 psia and suction temperature of 68°F (20°C)
|COUPLING:||FLEXIBLE WITH INTEGRAL HOUSING|
Variable flow and a constant pressure of 2.76 bar (40 psig) are achieved by control of engine speed and the output air through a pressure regulating valve. This makes the AIR STARTER UNIT versatile and universal in its application to be able to start all aircraft requiring up to 100/180/270/300/400 PPM for starting.
